We deliver development support expertise under five areas namely finance; research and development; trade and competitiveness, sectoral and human development; and governance and public sector management.
GDI is a team of professionals with over 20 years’ experience of working with national governments, CSOs and UN agencies, and World Bank in Uganda and other countries in sub Saharan Africa. The team has the requisite technical capacity in terms of technical competencies, skills and time to conduct evaluations, baselines, trade and market studies, gender and youth studies, capacity building and also deliver on time rigorous and multi-country assignments. The GDI team has solid experience in development and application of best practices in monitoring and evaluation, value chain development, women economic empowerment, climate-smart agribusiness preparation and critical appraisal of project feasibility studies, civil society organization capacity strengthening, basic service delivery, and promotion of good governance.
The GDI team has extensive experience in institutional and organizational development, research, policy development, project planning and management, monitoring and evaluating social development projects and programs. The GDI team has coordinated and executed various consulting assignments and trainings in different countries of sub-Saharan Africa beyond East Africa.
