Pamela is also a highly experienced monitoring and evaluation (M&E) professional, and an active business management coach, mentor and trainer in key sectors for trade, business development and employment and agri business. Pamela is an experienced business management, trade development and promotion specialist, especially in donor-funded initiatives. As a DANIDA Senior Programme Advisor for over 14 years, Pamela worked on a private sector development programme linking Ugandan and Danish businesses to promote economic growth. She managed the DANIDA Innovative Partnerships for Development Programme, which facilitated publicprivate partnerships for corporate social responsibility, and targeted private businesses, associations, cooperatives and the youth. She also represented DANIDA in private sector donor group meetings and workshops geared towards better implementation of the government’s strategic development plans. In the agriculture sector, Pamela supported the development of farmer groups to produce and market their products on the local and export markets. This initiative improved farming techniques, increased production levels, and led to better price negotiations for farmers. Her prior experience with InterAfrica Corporate comprised conducting research for market and feasibility studies for private enterprises as well as providing investment advisory and support services to various businesses. Pamela was previously seconded by InterAfrica Corporate (IAC) as a Grants Scheme Officer to work under the Business Uganda Development Scheme (BUDS), a private sector competitiveness project funded by the World Bank and implemented by the Private Sector Foundation of Uganda (PSFU) as a cost share grant scheme. She also worked as a library information assistant with the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA), chargedwith information dissemination and policy advocacy matters. Over the years Pamela has worked with various multicultural people and organisations.Pamela holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), Strategic Management and Finance from the United States International University (USIU) in Nairobi, Kenya and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, Honours Degree in Economics and Social Administration, Makerere University.
